I love KDE
I don't have an internet connection at home, so I have to take the laptop to a faculty near-by to update my system, get new software etc (I use Debian). The problem is I only go so often to the net that I usually forget what I wanted to download when I'm there. Solution? KDE

I use knotes to put in everything I remeber I wanna do on the net, when I remember it. Then I configured the notifications for knemo, so that whenever it detects a connection, launches a dcop signal for knotes (I found out which signa to send using kdcop) to show up the note with my 'TO GET' list. This works with any kind o connection to the net whenever it gets a signal, either wired or wireless one. It was really AMAZING, KDE 4.0 is going to kick Microsoft VISTA'S ASS
